It’s like a blog, but better looking than you.

Elite 4 and champion in Pokemon used to be the cream of the crop in the game for NPCs, but they were still a bit lame in difficulty. I beat almost all the games Elite 4s the first try. Now I’m playing Diamond (had it for ages but stopped playing for a while), and got to the Elite 4. I was thinking, “Ok, I have all my awesome Hyper Potions and Revives, and my cool pokemon. In the fucking bag!” 2 hours later…. ”FUCKING FUCKING FUCK FUCK. FUCK YOU! FUCK YOUUUUUUU! FUCK YOUR MOM! FUCK YOUR DAD! FUCK YOUR GODDAMN DOG! FUCK THEM ALL!” *Ahem* The actual Elite 4 were not too bad, but still way harder than past games. Each was like fighting a champion from the last game. You get close to killing them (anywhere in the lowest yellow health, and red health), they pop a full restore on them next turn no matter what. They’ll only do that once per pokemon, but they’ll do for each. Which sucks. And then if they are matched against one of your pokemon and they are in a disadvantage, they’ll switch out for a better one. Shit, I had one bust out a Baton Pass+Agility on me. Come on now! The Elite 4 is supposed to be easy money and experience so I can do Battle Tower and online. Sure, my pokemon were all an average of level 49-52, and the opponents pokemon were high 50s to high 60s, but that’s how it was in the old games. I’d go into the Elite 4 with my 6 level 45-48 pokemon, and pwn the place. Now…it took me over 10 tries to beat the Champion. I had to resort to the tactic of throwing Toxic on his Dragon and then just using a hyper potion on myself each turn until it died of poison. But, good news, finally beat the Champion. And yes, this is why my earlier blog on the Poke-MMO has not been updated.   For those who care. My team is made up of just pokemon I like, and I don’t care much for “teh OwNaGe!” Only one in there that I don’t like, is Lumineon….Ok, actually, I love that pokemon, but it’s weak as hell, and I only used it to get beat on while I revived other pokemon >.> I’m EV training a Krabby (my all time favorite pokemon is the Krabby family) to take it’s place after I get my National Dex in a little bit. Infernape: It was my starter, and I don’t like any of the Sinnoh Fire types. Plus, he can learn Grass Knot, which I used A LOT during the Elite 4 battles.Torterra: I got it from my friend. I like the fact that it has high attack rather than special attack, since I already had special ability sweepers.Drifblim: Not the best move set right now, but still a pokemon I like.Hippowdon: I love it’s pre-evolution so much! But this guy rocks too. I used him and Torterra more than any other during these battles. He alone took out all except Roserade and Milotic with the Champion’s Pokemon. He’s my Earthquake+Sand Stream+Toxic sweeper Girafarig: I just plain like this guy. Right now, I’m looking for something to replace his Zen Headbutt with, since he also has Psychic, but it’s fine for now.Lumineon: I was going to use her to Ice Beam the fuck out of the Dragon types….but her attack/Sp.attack is super low, and her only good stats are Sp.Defense and Speed. So she died fast. Replacing with Krabby  I’m currently EV training a Gible, but I was thinking, and I don’t like it’s last evolution, Garchomp. Because of that, I’m stopping leveling him. I don’t know what I want to level up for online battles. Will have to think about it. Like I said, I base my pokemon choice off which I like most, not the “uber” ones. I usually make them good by EV training. I don’t intend on doing hardcore battles, so I don’t care if your EV trained Rhydon or Charizard can beat me, it’s all for fun my friends. Geek Meister – Out. PS: I got a chance that most probably haven’t had. One of the Elite 4’s pokemon was a shiny! Hahahaha! My first shiny I see, and it’s on a trainer. Anyone know if this is for everyone, or just me? (Notice how it’s black and not brown). It’s a badass looking Hippowdon imho.
